There are not many young, modern female entrepreneurs in the countryside. “Frauen braucht das Land” shows three women in northern Germany who are setting new trends with their own businesses and creative ideas. Sintje Lorenzen from the island of Föhr produces vintage fashion, Josephine von Hedemann-Heespen runs the estate business at Gut Deutsch-Nienhof in Westensee and Anna-Lea Comba and a partner have taken over a large animal practice in Wiefelstede, which provides medical care for 6,000 cattle, among other things.
