Dokness documentary is a media library success

Our first documentary series “Death for Olympia - The Case of Birgit Dressel” has exceeded the million mark in the ARD media library. In addition to the large audience that we were able to reach on TV - despite the late-night broadcast time - the media library users also became aware of our production.
We are extremely happy about this and the usage figures show it: It was the right idea to present author Yannick Lowin's excellently researched and narrated story as a three-part series. Not least thanks to Nils Loof's re-enactment, the overwhelming majority of Mediathek viewers “binged” the series - in other words, watched all three episodes in one go.

What's more, no other documentary topic attracted so many people from social networks to the ARD media library in June. Amazing!

We are very proud that we reached so many viewers with this rather unknown sports story.
