Dokness-Doku auf Filmfest Emden
Our production "Das Boot - Welterfolg aus der Tiefe" - will be shown at the Emden Film Festival
In 2021, as a Bremedia production for ARTE, we worked with curators and media artists Georg Grill and Sven Femerling to produce a 52-minute documentary about the German film classic and its international success.
Our editor Kathrin Ennen worked her way through vast amounts of film material for this project and created an impressive archive collage together with the authors. It draws on more than fifty unpublished interviews that they have conducted with everyone involved over the last ten years. Unknown backgrounds, anecdotes and emotions are revealed for fans and first-time viewers alike.
The film will conquer the big screen at the Emden Film Festival on June 8 and 9 and commemorate the director Wolfgang Petersen.
